RWCS Newsletter V20 N1, February, 1996
This is the volume 20, number 1 issue of the Red Wing Collectors Society Newsletter from February, 1996. What was the range of colors that Red Wing Potteries used to glaze their Gypsy Trail line of dinnerware? It might be more than you think. For interesting articles on this and other subjects, read this newsletter. Ever since its inception in 1977, the Red Wing Collectors Society has issued regular newsletters to members. We archive each of the newsletters that we offer, just like a museum does, to ensure the quality and long life of these invaluable sources of information. Each newsletter is individually stored and shipped in museum-grade, high clarity polyethylene bags to reduce signs of aging and reinforced with 100% acid free backing boards to reduce paper damage. Minor creases in these newsletters is a normal condition. These newsletters were, after all, originally mailed through the post office. All issues before 1996 were also mailed folded in half. Minor creases and folds do not detract from their readability. The organization for and by collectors of Red Wing is the Red Wing Collectors Society. The society consigns the production of various collectible items that commemorate the Red Wing stoneware companies, the society itself and their annual convention. Collecting Red Wing stoneware, dinnerware and art pottery can be a rewarding and exciting hobby. These Red Wing collectibles will enhance your collection!
